Stainless steel oval tube surface quality judgment standards

Consumers in the purchase of stainless steel oval tube can be judged by the surface quality inspection, mainly on the material, appearance, shape, surface defects. Stainless steel oval tube surface defects occur mainly due to improper production, transportation, handling, storage and other operations. There are mainly the following 14 kinds.

, curvature: bending is the rolled material in the length or width direction is not straight, curved shape of the general term. If the degree of their unevenness is expressed in figures, it is called curvature;.

, sickle bend: refers to the metal plate, strip and close to the rectangular cross-section of the shape of the material along the length (narrow side) of the bend, one side of the concave curve, the other side of the convex curve, called sickle bend, to the height of the concave representation;; 3, surface cracks: mainly rolled material is not straight in the length or width direction of the curve shape.

, surface cracks: mainly refers to the stainless steel oval tube surface cracks; 4, bracket injury: refers to the material of the surface cracks, the surface cracks, the surface cracks, the surface cracks.

, bracketing: refers to the surface of the material in a straight line or curved groove marks usually can see the bottom of the groove;;.

, bonding: metal plate, foil, strip in the iterative rolling annealing layer and layer generated by the point, line, surface of the mutual adhesion. After lifting the surface to leave traces of bonding, called bonding;.

, folding: stainless steel oval tube metal in the hot rolling process to form a surface defects, the surface of the bimetallic layer folded over each other, in a straight line or curved rejoining;.

, subcutaneous bubbles: the surface of the metal material presents an irregular distribution of different sizes and shapes, around the rounded small bumps, rupture of the convex bubble was chicken-claw shaped fissure or tongue-shaped scars, called the bubble;.

, ellipticity: round cross-section of the metal material, in the same cross-section of the phenomenon of unequal diameters in all directions. Ellipticity with the same cross-section of the * large and * small diameter difference expressed on the different uses of the material standard is different; 9, scoop curvature: refers to the same cross-section of the * large and * small diameter difference.

, ladybird curvature: refers to the length and width of the plate or strip at the same time in the direction of the wave phenomenon of high and low undulation, the formation of ladybird curvature shape, called ladybird curvature. Indicates the degree of scooping the numerical value called the degree of scooping;; 10, lugs: due to the rolling mill, the rollers will not be able to roll the material.

, lugs: due to improper coordination of rolls and other reasons, profiled pipe protrusions that extend along the rolling direction, called lugs.

, scarring: refers to the uneven distribution of the surface of the metal material in the form of tongue, nail-like or fish scale-like flakes;.

, pockmarks: refers to the surface of the metal material uneven rough surface;.

, torsion: strip rolled material twisted into a spiral along the longitudinal axis;; and

, iron oxide: iron oxide refers to the material in the heating, rolling and cooling process, the metal oxide generated on the surface of the profiled pipe.
